Our journey at ADK Fragrance Farm is deeply rooted in a love for nature and its calming presence. A Journey to Inner Peace

In 2022, my life took an unexpected turn during my maternity leave when I faced a sudden career shift. Overwhelmed and anxious, my husband suggested we move to his hometown in the Adirondacks. Initially hesitant, I soon found myself captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the region. The quiet rustling of the trees, the scent of balsam and pine in the crisp mountain air, and the gentle rhythm of nature brought me a deep sense of healing and renewal.

Each walk through the forest reminded me of the peace I had been longing for. It was in these quiet moments that I realized the extraordinary ability of nature to restore balance and bring clarity to the soul. I wanted to share this sense of serenity with others, and so, I embraced the opportunity to continue my mother-in-law’s legacy at ADK Fragrance Farm.

Honoring the Past, Crafting the Future

Founded in 1979 by my mother-in-law, Sandy Maine, ADK Fragrance Farm began as a humble workshop inspired by the scents of the Adirondack wilderness. Sandy was a pioneer in using native botanicals to create soaps and fragrances that captured the essence of the region. For decades, she nurtured this brand with passion and craftsmanship, building a community of people who cherish the purity and authenticity of nature’s gifts.


When I took over the family business, I felt an immense responsibility to uphold its heritage while bringing in my own vision for the future. I saw an opportunity not just to preserve what had been built but to deepen our connection with nature and community. With a renewed focus on sustainability, handcrafted quality, and the therapeutic power of scent, ADK Fragrance Farm continues to grow as a women-led business dedicated to creating fragrances that nurture the soul.
